This policy explains how Rectangle Limited (“Rectangle”, “we”) collects and uses personal information, in line with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on our website, we collect your name, email address and anything else you choose to give us, such as your business, phone number or message. You don’t have to give us your details, but we need your name and email to reply.

We also collect information about how people use our website and links, such as the pages visited and the type of device used.

Sometimes we get your details from someone else, like a venue partner who introduces us. If so, we’ll let you know when we first get in touch.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, to talk with you about working with Rectangle, and to improve our website and marketing. We don’t sell it.

Who we share it with

We share it only with our team and the service providers who help us run our website and business, including Google, HubSpot and Meta. Some of them store information outside New Zealand. We’ll also share information if the law requires it.

Our website and links use cookies and similar tools, including from Google, HubSpot and Meta, to understand how they’re used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, and keep it only for as long as we need it.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@myrectangle.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
